Fire control received numerous calls to a vehicle on fire in the Maddock Drive area. 

Control immediately mobilised one crew from Plympton to attend. 

Once in attendance crews confirmed one vehicle well alight at the rear and set about extinguishing the fire using 1 Hose Reel Jet and 2 Breathing Apparatus wearers. 

Crews successfully brought the fire under control but unfortunately it caused 50% damage to the vehicle. 
The fire is believed to have been accidental.
