Fire crews from Danes Castle and Middlemoor attended a fire within a scrap metal yard on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate near Exeter.
This was one concrete bay measuring approximately 5m x 5m containing 6 tonnes of small electrical goods. The waste goods were severely damaged by fire. Crews extinguished using hose reel jets and main jets. The cause of the fire was accidental.
