Fire Control mobilised crew from Appledore and Bideford to reports of a fuse box smoking on the wall in the Lundy View area of Northam. 
Crew confirmed that there was a fire in the external consumer unit and requested the attendance of Western Power to isolate the supply. Crew used 2x dry powder extinguishers to extinguish the fire. Fire crew also carried out smoke clearance to the property.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
