Property fire

Fire control received multiple calls to a Domestic fire in Hollyhock way, Paignton. 1 Fire engine from Torquay, 1 Aerial platform ladder from Torquay,  2 Fire engines from Paignton, 1 Fire engine from Brixham attended the incident alongside officers.

On arrival crews confirmed that smoke and flames were issuing but all persons were accounted for.

Crews got to work with 4 breathing apparatus, 3 jets, ladders, small tools, thermal imaging camera, the gas and electric has been isolated and crews are utilising water from a local hydrant.

Crews successfully extinguished the fire which unfortunately caused extensive damage to the top floor of a 3 storey property. 

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
