Property fire

Fire control received a call from an automatic alarm company regarding a smoke alarm activation at Tangier way. 

2 fire engines from Taunton attended the incident alongside an officer. On arrival crews confirmed a small fire in one of the flats, crews immediately got to work with 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose and a smoke curtain to extinguish the fire. 

Crews are now using a positive pressure fan to clear the smoke from the corridors, the fire damage was contained to the cooker, smoke damage throughout the entire flat.

This is believed to be an accidental ignition.
