Vehicle fire

Fire Control received lots of a calls to reports of a fire.

1 Fire engine from Frome was sent to the location and on arrival crews confirmed this to be a vehicle, well alight, and requested a 2nd fire engine to attend for water. This also came from Frome Fire Station.

Shortly after the 2nd engine arrived, a 3rd fire engine was requested due to the fire spreading from the vehicle to a nearby hedgerow.  The 3rd came from Warminster.

This was a fire involving 2 vehicles, a large hedgerow and a garden fence.  The fire was extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, 1 main jet and compressed air foam (CAFS).  Both vehicles were severely damaged by fire.
