Fire Control mobilised crew from Shepton Mallet to a report of a vehicle on fire in the proximity of Townsend Shopping Park in Shepton Mallet.
Upon arrival, crew confirmed that there was no signs of smoke or fire, however Police that were in attendance used a fire extinguisher prior to crews arrivals.
Crew carried out an inspection using a thermal image camera and disconnected the battery.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
