Fire Control mobilised an appliance from Hartland with Specialist Rescue Team from Barnstaple and 2 officers to a report of bullock that had got stuck in a slurry pit.

Crew got to work making sure that the bullock's head was above the slurry and confirmed that a telehandler was en-route from a neighbouring farm.

The crew successfully rescued the bullock from the slurry pit using mud mats, strops and an agricultural telehandler.
