Fire Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Castle Cary and Wincanton to reports of a vehicle with one occupant stuck within in Bruton.
Once crews booked in attendance, they confirmed that there was 2 vehicles stuck in the flood water and they donned on water rescue flood suits before going to investigate. Upon investigating, crews discovered that both of these vehicles were empty and carried out traffic management duties for a short while.
This incident was then handed over to the Police.
