Fire Control mobilised crew from Witheridge to a report of a chimney fire in the Chawleigh area.
After booking in attendance, crew got to work investigating and confirmed that the fire was contained to the chimney. They extinguished the fire using chimney rods, stirrup pump and a thermal image camera.
The cause of the fire was accidenal.
