Fire Control received a report of smoke coming from the roof area of a pub.
Fire engines from Torquay and Paignton, along with an aerial ladder platform from Torquay, were mobilised to this incident.
On arrival the crew confirmed there was a small fire affecting only a small area of flat roof on the building and got to work checking the voids for fire spread using a thermal imaging camera.
The fire was extinguished and luckily caused only minor damage to the roof.
