Multiple calls were made from members of the public to report a vehicle fire on the M5 Southbound, near to J28, this evening at around 21:20pm, 

Attending fire crews confirmed that one vehicle was well alight on the hard shoulder. 

Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.
