Road traffic collision

2 fire appliances from Tavistock were mobilised to Lamerton nr Tavistock, following a request from Ambulance for our assistance to a single vehicle RTC, where the car had come to rest on its side, trapping a female casualty. 

Crews used stabilisation equipment and small tools to safely access the elderly casualty before extricating her into the hands of Ambulance paramedics. Once the vehicle and scene was made safe the incident was left in the hands of the Ambulance service and Police. This incident was brought under control at 2217hrs.
