Vehicle fire

Two fire appliances were mobilised following a call from the driver of a baler that had caught fire in a three-acre field, along with one round bale. Crews were soon on scene and had the fire under control, using one hose reel jet to extinguish it. Once extinguished and the vehicle/scene made safe duty of care was left with the farmer. Damage was confined to the baler and bale only, after crews prevented it from spreading further.
