Fire Control mobilised crews from Danes Castle (Whole-time and Retained) and Middlemoor (Whole-Time) to reports of fire and smoke coming out of the walls in Martins Lane area of Exeter.
Crews confirmed there was a fire in the ground floor wall of the premise and got to work gaining access and cutting away parts of the ground floor to ascertain fire spread and locate hot spots.
This was believed to be accidental.
