Property fire

Fire crews from Yeovil were sent to a report of a fire at Westfield Grove, Yeovil.  

This was a fire involving an unattended chip pan within a two storey semi detached house of brick and tile construction and measuring approximately 10m x 10m.  The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one co2 extinguisher, one hose reel jet and one safety jet.  Approximately 15% fire damage and 50% smoke damage to kitchen and 10% smoke damage to the remaining rooms in the property.  

The cause of the fire was accidental.
