Crews from Danes Castle and Middlemoor attended a first floor kitchen fire within a public house in Little Castle Street, Exeter.
This was a fire involving a commercial cooking range, the range was 70% damaged by fire and the remainder of the kitchen was damaged by smoke and fire. Damage confined to the kitchen area only. Crews extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, three dry powder extinguishers, one covering jet and and a thermal imaging camera,
The cause of the fire was accidental.
