RTC Persons Trapped Small Vehicle

Fire Control received a call from Police regarding a four car road traffic collision heading northbound on the M5. Crews were mobilised on the basis of providing scene safety, but on a second call from Ambulance were made aware of potential trapped casualties. On arrival crews confirmed five cars involved with four people medically trapped. Crews soon got to work using the following equipment to release the casualties:

• Small tools
• Stabilising blocks

All casualties are now in hands of the ambulance and the crews have come away from the scene.
