Two fire engines from Bridgwater station backed up by a water carrier attended reports of a large truck on fire this evening.
On arrival crews confirmed this to be a tractor on fire adjacent to a barn and crews set to work extinguishing the fire using one hose reel jet, one concentracted foam jet and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
The vehicle was completely destroyed by the fire but crews were able to safely protect the barn building.
The cause of the fire was accidental
