Two fire engines were sent to a report of smoke and fire within a domestic property. On arrival crews confirmed that there was smoke issuing and made a forced entry into the property. After confirming that there were no persons in the property, crews extinguished the fire using:
- 4 breathing apparatus
- 2 hose reel jets
- thermal image camera
- gas detection monitor
- smoke clearance fan
The fire was in a downstairs living room and there was 15 per cent fire damage to this room and 40 per cent smoke damage to room and 1st floor. The cause of the fire was accidental.
