Fire control received a couple of calls to static caravan on fire near to St Giles on the Heath.

Control mobilised 1 fire appliance from Holsworthy and 2 fire appliances from Launceston (Cornwall FRS).

Once crews were on scene, they confirmed the caravan to be well alight and were getting to work with 2 breathing apparatus but were struggling with access and water supply issues. 

Update 23:37 - crews still using 2 breathing apparatus. 2 47kg propane cylinders have now been removed from the risk area. Crews confirmed electricity to the caravan has been isloated and 2 fire appliances were doing a water shuttle for the appliance supplying water to the fire. 

Final update - crews confirmed 1 static caravan was completely destroyed by fire. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets. BT have been informed due to a BT pole being damaged by fire. This fire was confirmed as accidental activation.
