Property fire

2 fire appliances from our Plymouth stations at Camels Head and Greenbank were mobilised this morning to a property fire at Bulleid Close, Plymouth, after receiving calls from neighbours saying they could see smoke issuing from the house. Fire Control confirmed at the time of call that there were no persons inside the property as the occupants had gone out. 

Crews were on scene within minutes of booking mobile and established the fire was in the kitchen of a 2 storey end of terrace property and got to work attempting to extinguish the fire using 2 breathing apparatus wearers with hose reel jets.  

The fire was quickly extinguished using the above equipment and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke from the building.
