Bridgwater
Fire Control received a call regarding a pony stuck in a water filled ditch. Control mobilised a specialist rescue team from Exmouth and a fire engine from Bridgwater to rescue the pony.
Crews used the following equipment for the rescue:
- Dry suits
- Telehandler
- Water and animal rescue equipment
The pony has now been rescued and is in the hands of the owner and vet.
