Property fire

Crews were mobilised from the above stations after a 999 call was received about a tumble dryer on fire in the garage which was attached to a property. Crews quickly got to work with a foam jet, a thermal imaging camera and a hose reel jet. National grid were requested by crews to perform an external power isolation to the property.

The garage was 100% damaged. Crews used a total of:

• 4 breathing apparatus
• 2 hose reel jets
• 1 main jet
• 1 safety jet
• 1 foam jet
• 1 thermal imaging camera
• 1 triple extension ladder
• Small tools

Initial fire investigation was carried out on scene and crews confirm the cause of the fire was accidental. These are the full details.
