Fire control received a couple of calls to a property fire in the St Thomas area of Exeter.
Control area mobilised 3 fire appliances from Danes Castle and Middlemoor along with 2 officers.
Once on scene, crews confirmed fire involving decking and rear porch to property. Crews were extinguishing the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and small tools.
Final update - decking was 70% damaged by fire and the porch was 10% damaged by heat and smoke. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and small tools. This fire was confirmed as accidental ignition.
