Fire Control received a call explaining of a tumble dryer on fire in a commercial premises. Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were mobilised.
On arrival crews confirmed a tumble dryer alight and used the following equipment to extinguish the fire:
- Two breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- One thermal imaging camera
- One battery fan
There was 30% smoke damage to the shop. The cause was accidental. All appliances have now left scene and the incident has been left in hands of the owner.
