Vehicle fire

We received multiple calls from the public around 12:34pm today, reporting a vehicle on fire on the A39, Stogursey Lane.  

Crews confirmed on attendance that one Volvo was well alight and had also spread to 5m worth of hedgerow and a small area of field. One fire engine attended and extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, and 1 thermal imaging camera. 

The incident was then left with the Police, who will remain in attendance for traffic management until the vehicle has been recovered.
