Three fire engines attended a small fire involving a wooden worktop on an electrical oven. Crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire as well as a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the rest of the property. The fire was confined to the worktop which was completely destroyed by fire.
