Road traffic collision

Fire control received a call from an officer reporting a road traffic collision on Dinan Way in Exmouth. 

Fire control immediately mobilised three fire appliances to this incident on the request of the officer who was on scene. 

Police and Ambulance were on scene and dealing with the incident. 

The incident commander confirmed there was two people trapped within one of the vehicles and one person was ejected from another vehicle. The crews got to work making the vehicles safe and attempting to extricate the two casualties from the vehicle. 

All casualties were extricated from the vehicles using hydraulic cutting equipment, stabilisations and small tools. One casualty was taken to hospital via air ambulance and two casualties were taken to hospital via land ambulance. 

The incident was handed over to police.
