Property fire

Fire Control received a call from a member of the public reporting the alarm sounding and smell of smoke from a premises at the above location. 

Control immediately mobilised 2 Fire Appliances from Bridgwater and a supporting officer. 

Once on scene crews confirmed a strong smell of smoke coming from the building and got to work trying to gain entry to investigate. 

Once crews gained entry they found a fire involving unattended cooking on the hob within the kitchen. 

Crew managed to successfully extinguish the fire using 

• 4 Breathing Apparatus
• 2 Hose Reel Jets
• 1 Thermal Imaging Camera
• Small Tool 
• Positive Pressure Ventilation Fan. 

The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
