3 fire engines and a water bowser are currently in attendance at a fire involving a landfill site.
The fire involves approximately 20m x 20m of general waste and crews are attempting to extinguish using 2 main jets and a hose reel jet. The fire is currently contained and crews are making good progress.
The fire was extinguished at around 23:15 using the above mentioned main and hose reel jets. The incident has been handed over to responsible people on scene.
