Fire control received a call to a fire within a kitchen in the St Marychurch area of Torquay.
Control mobilised 3 fire appliances from Torquay and Paignton along with an officer.
Crews confirmed fire in flue of aga oven. Crews at work extinguishing using 1 hose reel jet, small tools, thermal imaging camera and a makita.
Final update - crews confirmed fire extinguished. The fire was contained to the flue of an aga only. Crews used the above equipment to extinguish and the fire was confirmed as accidental.
