Property fire
Fire Control received several calls to reports of a fire at the rear of a property.
1 fire engine from Camels Head and 1 from Crownhill, Plymouth, were sent to the location.
On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a garden shed, well alight, which had also spread to the garden fencing and part of the house. Crews got to work with 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet and 1 main jet. All persons were accounted for and safe.
This was a fire involving the garden shed, measuring approx 3m by 3m, at the rear of a property. The fire also spread to the garden fencing and part of the window and window frames on the house. The fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet, 1 main jet, thermal imaging camera and drag forks. A smoke curtain was also used on the property.
The cause of the fire was accidental. Duty of care was left with the occupiers.
