Fire Control received several calls to reports of a fire at the rear of a property.

1 fire engine from Camels Head and 1 from Crownhill, Plymouth, were sent to the location.

On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a garden shed, well alight, which had also spread to the garden fencing and part of the house.  Crews got to work with 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet and 1 main jet.  All persons were accounted for and safe.

This was a fire involving the garden shed, measuring approx 3m by 3m, at the rear of a property.  The fire also spread to the garden fencing and part of the window and window frames on the house.  The fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hose reel jet, 1 main jet, thermal imaging camera and drag forks.  A smoke curtain was also used on the property.

The cause of the fire was accidental.  Duty of care was left with the occupiers.
