Property fire

Fire Control received a call from the occupier of a property to say there was a fire in their property.  All persons were told to evacuate the premises.

2 Fire engines attended and confirmed there was a small fire involving the oven in the kitchen of the property.

Crews used 2 breathing apparatus wearers and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the room of smoke.

The fire caused approx 5% damage to the oven and approx 10% smoke damage to the kitchen.

The cause was accidental and duty of care was left with the occupiers.
