Property fire

Crews were sent to a fire seen from a top floor window with an alarm sounding. Police phoned to confirm they had a female on the phone to their control room who was trapped inside the flat.

Crews arrived on scene and entered the property using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet. The female was rescued from the flat and attended to by paramedics, with one further female with smoke inhalation. Crews increased breathing apparatus to 4 on arrival of further appliances, and put the fire out using 2 hose reel jets. The fire was found to be in the bedroom.

Crews used positive pressure ventilation to clear the property of smoke. The cause was deemed as accidental ignition and the flat suffered moderate damage.
