Property fire
Two fire appliances from Greenbank and Camels Head were mobilised to reports of a living room on fire. On arrival they requested a further 2 appliances which came from Crownhill and Plymstock as it was believed there were persons still in the property.
The 2 storey terraced property measuring 5m by 8m had a fire on the first floor. 2 person removed themselves from the property just prior to fire service arrival and therefore all persons were now accounted for. Crews were using 4 breathing apparatus sets, 2 hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera. Ambulance were also in attendance.
A fire investigation officer was also mobilised to the incident and they are still investigating the cause.
In total there were 3 seats of fire, 1 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. One female was treated for smoke inhalation and taken to hospital by ambulance crews. A positive pressure ventilation fan was also used to ventilate the property.
