Fire control received a couple of calls to an articulated lorry on fire near to East-the-water, Bideford.
Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Appledore and Bideford and a water carrier from Barnstaple.
Once crews arrived the confirmed the fire involved the trailer unit of an articulated lorry and 1 hose reel jet was in use.
Crews soon confirmed the fire to be out and checking for fire spread amongst a load full of insulation panels.
Once the incident come to a close, crews confirmed a fire involving binding brakes on an articulated trailer unit. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet.
