Submit building plans

Regulation 6 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 requires responsible persons of high-rise residential buildings in England to share up-to-date plans of the building with the fire and rescue service.

Please use this form to send electronic copies of the plans.

  • Use PDF only. We cannot accept other types of file
  • Provide a separate plan for each floor and identify unit numbers
  • You can submit up to 10 files with each form but the total file size must be less than 64MB.
  • Use the form as many times as you need to if you have more than 10 files or the total file size is greater than 64MB
  • You will receive an email confirming receipt of the files.
Have you put hard copies of the building plans in the premises information box?
We hold plans for all high-rise premises in Devon and Somerset. We can provide you (the responsible person) with a copy of these plans (within 28 days) for you to check and inform us of any changes or amendments. You are still required under Regulation 6 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 to submit up to date plans of your building to us. To help you with this, we will accept our plans back with appropriate amendments or confirmation they are correct.
Would you like to request a copy of the plans we hold?
You can send up to 10 pdf files with each form but the total size of the documents must be less than 64MB. If the total file size is more than 64MB, you will need to complete and submit this form again.
