Property Fire

Fire Control were called to alarms sounding and smoke in the property at a residence in Wolsdon Street, Plymouth at approx 0330hrs on 23/11

Three fire engines and an officer were mobilised from Camels Head and Greenbank in Plymouth. 

Crews confirmed the 10m x 7m building consisting of three floors converted into three flats had a fire on the first floor flat measuring 5m by 10m in the living room, the fire was successfully extinguished using 4 x breathing apparatus, 1 x hose reel jet, 1 x safety jet, 1x covering jet, small tools and a thermal image camera. Unfortunately the room was 30% damaged by fire and 70% smoke damaged. 

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
