DSFRS attended a car on fire in a layby in the Rackenford Moor area of the A361. Two crews from Tiverton and Witheridge attended and found the vehicle was well alight upon their arrival.

The crews set about extinguishing it using a hose reel and two breathing apparatus. 

The car was severely damaged and the cause was believed to be accidental.
