Property fire

Crews from Yeovil attended a domestic property in Yeovil following reports of a fire originating in a bedroom of a property. The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, one covering jet, one thermal imaging camera and one positive pressure ventilation fan. The an area of carpet was completely destroyed by fire and the first floor of the property was 70% damaged by smoke. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
