Property fire

Three appliances attended a fire in a first floor flat involving storage heater. Two Breathing Apparatus wearers used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was also used to rid the property of smoke. Two people on scene were treated for smoke inhalation and given oxygen therapy by fire service personnel. The fire damage was limited to the night storage heater with the rest of the property being lightly smoke damaged. The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
