Property fire

Two fire engines were initially sent to a report of a shed on fire in a garden of a domestic property. Further calls indicated that the fire had now spread to a bungalow. A further two fire engines were sent to assist.

The fire consisted of one shed which was totally destroyed by fire. This fire then spread to two detached bungalow roofs. There was 50 per cent fire damage and 20 per cent smoke and water damage to the one bungalow roof. The second bungalow was 70 per cent damaged b fire and 30 per cent damage by water.

The fire was extinguished using:

• 4 breathing apparatus
• 3 hose reel jets
• 1 main jet
• ladders
• thermal imaging cameras.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
