Fire Control mobilised a number of fire engines following a call reporting a barn well alight, which was spreading to domestic premises.
Final details are that a range of buildings, 30 metres x 40 metres consisting of one barn and private residential were involved. The fire spread from the barn to the main building. Equipment used during the incident consisted of:
- Four main jets
- Two hose reel jets
- One 105 ladder
- Two triple extension ladders
- One positive pressure ventilation fan
- Breathing Apparatus
Final details are that the barn has been 100% destroyed by fire and the house 50% destroyed by fire The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
