Property fire

Fire Control received several calls to reports of a fire in Plymouth and mobilised 3 appliances and an Aerial Ladder to attend. On arrival crews found a caravan to be well alight to the rear of a commercial property in Devonport. Fire crews on scene used 2 BA, an attack jet and one hose reel jet to bring the fire under control. Due to the proximity of the caravan fire to the building some slight heat damage was caused to the wall of the property. Crews gained access to the property to carry out internal checks using a Thermal Imaging Camera to ensure no fire spread. The caravan was severely damaged by fire.
