Fire control received several 999 calls reporting thick black smoke in an industrial estate. Three fire engines were initially sent and when crews got in attendance they confirmed that this fire initially started in some trees, but had now spread to some vehicles and scaffolding boards.
A further 2 fire engines, water bowser, and command support vehicle were also sent.
The fire was extinguished using:
- 4 Hose Reel Jets
- 1 Foam Jet
- Drag Forks
- Thermal Image Camera
The fire involved 5 vehicles which were 100 per cent damaged by fire, fencing, trees and scaffolding boards. The cause of the fire was accidental.
