Vehicle fire

Fire Control received a call to a combine harvester on fire at Dolton Beacon.  Two fire engines from Torrington and Barnstaple and a water carrier from Barnstaple were mobilised.

Fire crews confirmed a small fire located in the undercarriage of the combine harvester.  The fire was out on arrival but fire crews cooled and monitored the vehicle using 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.  The cause of the fire is believed to accidental.
