Property fire

Two fire engines were initially sent to a report of a domestic garage on fire, however after a further call informing Fire Control that the fire was starting to spread to the porch of the house, a third fire engine was sent.

On arrival crews confirmed that this was a garage with cars and other items inside. Crews extinguished the fire using:

• Hose reel jets

The garage and contents were totally destroyed by fire and there was 5 percent exterior fire damage to the porch of the main house. The cause of the fire was accidental.
