Log store fire

Fire Control received calls reporting a log store on fire within the garden of a property. Fire crews from Danes Castle in Exeter were mobilised to the incident which was in the Whitestone area. 

Crews got to work using 1 x high pressure hose reel jet and 1 x thermal image camera and were able to successfuly extinguish the fire. The log store was partially damaged by the fire, including damage to the roof and window. 

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental due to hot ashes.
