Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from a member of the public reporting a chimney fire at the above location.
One fire appliance from Somerton was immediately mobilised by Fire Control.
On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that there was a fire in the chimney of a bungalow. Crews got to work and extinguished the fire using chimney gear and a low pressure hose reel. The roof space was checked thoroughly using a thermal imaging camera.
